Went 5/5 last week in my last full week before my holiday. Friday’s shoulder session was meh but still did something.

Today was very good. 90 mins of soccer and 8miles of total cycling. Went to the city to do an in-body scan and do some shopping, too (already at 9k steps).

I think the in-body might under estimate my BF% (said I was 21.5%) but I went after soccer and only had water and a protein shake to be as fasted as possible. As far as it’s consistent with the “error” so to speak. I have been lifting a lot more consistently and I’m looking more defined so there might be some truth to it.

I’ll take another scan again at the end of Q2.
I'm planning to get a dexa scan once finish my next cut but at this rate, I'll be bulking for ever lol.

I think Dexa is what I wanna do but I heard it’s pricey.

I’m fine with in-body at $30 a scan. I just need it to be reasonably accurate. I don’t think it’d tell me 30% BF if I was closer to 20%

Yeah they typically cost between $200-$300. I just want to do it just to see what's it like and how lean I can get when I do a serious cut.

Bro, I’m so glad you mentioned this. Did a quick google search and found a place close to my office that does 4 DEXA scans for $350. About $116 a scan…:ohhh:

Definite cop once I get back from holiday.

Right now I’m doing:

Daily weigh ins
Weekly weight averaging
Bi-weekly photo pics and tape measurements

Can now add quarterly DEXA scans

:wow: back into weight lifting by force :mjcry: my body can't handle playing basketball and soccer to stay in shape. I use to play basketball and soccer for hours. I am getting hurt like crazy now. Sprain ankles, torn quad, now that I have recovered, I play soccer here and there but I can't keep up with the early 20's anymore :mjlol:

I have also changed my diet completely, my cholesterol was too high, I rarely eat meat now. I got scared as fukk waiting for scan to see if I was at risk of heart disease. Once I got the result, I saw a zero.

It's funny because I always had older friends, when I was mid 20's one of the guys I use to play regularly started riding his bike more often, now that I am in my mid 30's I understand :mjlol:.

Ain’t nothing wrong with moving iron. You need it for longevity.

:francis: Woke up an hour late and even if I get to the gym, I’ll have to shorten it.

Hate that I’m gonna have to get in an after work gym session but I need these next three days before my holiday to be very intense. Rather take the time needed.

Just finished leg day at 7:40am PST. That’s 2/3 this week before my holiday tomorrow and 17/18 days in the gym M-F this month (not counting tomorrow). Consistency been bananas, it feels so ingrained now.

I’m really liking goblet squats more and more. Good exercise to load up on the reps.

About 1-1.5lbs from my Q1 target. Wanted to hit it before my holiday but should get to it next week granted I keep the diet and liq in check when I touch down.

Main thing for my holiday is getting the steps in and just maintaining.

Back home after traveling Europe for 2 weeks (Barcelona, Madrid, Florence/Tuscany, Paris, Istanbul). Only Paris hotel had a gym so feeling weak/sluggish. Going to spend the next week or two detoxing and getting back on a routine.

I’m traveling tomorrow for about two weeks and I told myself I’d take a break from the gym but I honestly don’t want to come back feeling sluggish and weak. I’ve made so much progress so I’ll still go for 3x a week and get in a lot of daily walking/good cardio.

The AirBnBs and hotels I have all have respectable gyms. Don’t need a full blow gym but as far as I have some dumbbells and machines, I can make something work. Lowkey if I don’t work out this trip my ass mot gonna last long :dead:

Just need 1hr a day really and it should be easier since I don’t have work

I was traveling last week and just used it rest week. Didn't want to stress trying to find a gym that had everything I wanted and my body was a little beat up. Worked out for the best since I'm feeling stronger than ever this week.

Getting steps in on vacation is easy. Minimum 20k a day. It's the lack of resistance training i hate. It was difficult finding hotels w/ gyms in Spain/Italy, not much of a lifting culture there. Istanbul there is but I stayed in the ancient part of the city where the hotels are less modern.

Nutrition stayed on point most of the trip until Turkey where every corner sells baklava and candies. Baklava got to be top 5 most unhealthy thing to eat on Earth. Just one is like 300 calories. :wow:
