Today just wasn’t it. 3/10 leg day.

Just did DLs, Hack Squat and Leg Extensions. It was that bad.

I had a team dinner last night so got home late, slept late and woke up late.

It was raining hard this morning so I had to uber to the gym instead of my usual bike ride. Got in at 6:35am instead of 5:15-5:30 like usual :beli:and it was downhill from there.

My rhythm was just off from the moment I got in. Had to do everything at 75% of my usual volume.

Anyway, something is better than nothing. We move.

I had problems with whey for a min, I changed it up and went with plant protein and it’s been going good so far
When using whey use top of the line whey-isolate. That one will not mess with your stomach because of purity standards that need to be followed by all companies. Any other type of whey will be filled with cut..... cheaper yes, but you pay the consequences.... i talked about it earlier in this thread

SoCal weather is wild. Half of LA nearly burned down last month. The other half will be flooded this month. Looks like I'll be using the treadmill for a bit.

That’s more like it. 8/10 for shoulder, arms and abs today. I got a proper sweat when I left the gym.

I went to Dave Chapelle’s show last night in SF so I got home late and woke up later than usual but since I wfh on Fridays it was all good. Got to the gym by 7:30am today and it was relatively empty :gladbron:

Another 5/5 week in the books and it looks like the rainstorms have passed for the season.

I’m breaking out my bike this President’s day to celebrate the return of glorious, sunny weather :blessed:

Still getting my soccer game in tomorrow :whew:

Halfway through Q1 and I’m really liking the progress so far even though I’m still in the early stages of taking sheets off the “paper towel”.

Starting a new plan next week to ramp up the intensity. My lifts have started to stall since I’m cutting but that’s expected.

Slow, steady and consistent. We move.

I have naturally thick calves so it's never a training concern.

Plus, I'm not competing. Most people aren't. It's not a body part that warrants any attention ever. Unless you have twigs for legs. I wish people would shut up about it.

And leg day is tomorrow morning.

I’m not big on em but I do hit em at the end of every leg day. But my calves are already naturally well built.
