45 minutes? How many lifts are you doing in that time? Please post the workout you are doing in 45 minutes.
To me it's not "more is better". I don't need to do 20 sets of chest in one day and be there for an hour and a half. By that point you're depleted and it's junk volume.
I get in. I lift almost to failure. Next.

Depending on the day it will be around 8-12 sets per body part. So chest day might be 3 working sets of bench, 3 of incline. 3 or 4 of flies. Some pushdowns and extensions for tris. Maybe a set of dips. That's it. Warm up sets not included.

Couple of days later. Back at it.

I don't think stuff like preworkout matters at all.
In my mind, it has almost no impact on a person's gains.

People think "If I take preworkout, I have more energy, my workouts will be more productive". And in reality, I think technique, and merely the will to push a set to failure, or close to failure is far more important.

If people are training with the proper intensity and focus and form, they're out of the gym in 45 minutes, give or take.
Nobody needs preworkout to get through a 45 minute training session if they're eating well.
Pre gives me that intensity and focus…….

What time do you train?

Do you think You would have that same intensity at 6:45AM?
If I got enough sleep.
Wake up. Cup of coffee. Little breakfast. Go.

Honestly preworkout powder risks aren't all that high and if you're pressing me on it...it's whatever. My earlier comments were more on the side of trolling than REALLY thinking it's going to give people a heart attack. I suppose it's not Panera charged lemonade.

No bullshyt: if it helps you, take it.

I don't really need it. And I wanted to push back on its importance because on this board specifically some people are fukkin ridiculous and over the top with their "powda" clown shyt.

But to some degree that's on me. Bodybuilding forums are well known for hyperbole, arrogance, bro science and other foolishness.

So you might just have enough time to hit one barbell lift and bounce? Tf? Ain't no type of decent weight x volume getting knocked out in two episodes of Seinfeld. :mjtf:

45 min-1.5hrs is plenty enough time for a workout. I do two-a-days mon, wed, and Fridays. Calisthenics Tuesdays and Thursday. Chill on the weekends.
