I just realized you said you're doing 5/3/1. I'm no expert but that doesn't look like 5/3/1 to me. How long have you been lifting?

Can't think of a single 5/3/1 template that has you doing 7-8 prescribed exercises a clip, so maybe that's his accessory work written out and he's doing =<100 reps per category. :ld:

What I don't get is he has the equipment to do 5/3/1 so I don't understand why he didn't just follow the actual routine :gucci:

5/3/1 as written is lower volume and lower frequency so it's not uncommon for folks to add to it.

I can't stand up past 10 mins and I have to get weekly injections into my spinal column starting April/May.

I appreciate you for caring about my disability and my health. It's greatly appreciated. Cause alot of people are Ableist and don't understand how hard it is to fight your disabilities. :salute:

That incline dumbbell press video seems wrong.

I don't know anyone who would tell a lifter to take their feet off the ground when doing bench press.

You immediately destroyed your ability to lift weight with stability.

I do the 5/3/1 routine with the 4 big lifts and then switch over to a regular workout after that.

I just started back up lifting in February.

I personally would switch to a beginner routine for the Big 5 lifts to get faster noob gains than the extremely slow progression of 5/3/1 will give you, but that's just me. :hubie:
