Any lift not performed on the platform is just a gym lift anyways. :yeshrug:


Whether it's real or fake, it doesn't count for anything more than clicks or daps until he does it before judges. :francis:

Front squats are such a humbler. Made it a goal to push myself hard as possible this year and see where I can get since I'm in the most stable part of life ever.. Doing nsuns 5/3/1. Followed the deadlifts with front squats and wanted to see what I could realistically max out. 275 was a struggle :wow:

Followed the deadlifts with front squats and wanted to see what I could realistically max out. 275 was a struggle :wow:

When I did (do) nSuns I changed the rep scheme for the T2 lifts a lot of times but always did front squats before deadliffs. I never pull first. :manny:



I was also as strong (if not stronger) than 2Suns was when he ran the program so YMMV. :takedat:

My biggest issues with nSuns as an intermediate/advanced lifter are:
1) volume is unequl across the Big 5;
2) accessory work isn’t programmed;
3) the Sheiko rep scheme isn’t optimal for PLing.


Mind nSuns wasn’t designed for late intermediates or advanced trainees so :yeshrug: .

I still do the main ohp day, the accessory one to the light bench day I tossed in the bushes. I just spam lat raises to make up for it. I agree with your points. I feel like this pushes upper body a lot harder than lowerbody and for an advanced/intermediate program you'd think they'd program in accessories that best compliment lifts. It's a weird offbrand spinal tap program imo. I just have fond memories for it because it's the first program that got me to actually believe in progressive overloading and that I can lift more than I think can.

Video of this 210 ohp? That’s an insanely strong ohp for your body weight even if you had T. rex arms

I have weak shoulders, great gorilla arms (I am King of Sage Monkeys after all) and I can press at least 93% of my bodyweight without dying.

Any tips for wrist mobility? I have a hard time front squatting with the standard form.
