Can't front this is my paranoia as I'm upping the weight. Im steady thinking what's gonna happen when I stall mid rep?....:lupe:... Been thinking Im gonna roll back on my heels amd have the side bars in the rack catch the bar n weight...

I may also have to start practicing low bar..... just to be versatile... .
If you dedicated enough you just fart and keep on getting reps

If you ain't let the trumpets loose while doing a squat, you not trying hard enough :ufdup:

I don't use safeties in the rack. Imma either make it or I won't.

I learn more by failing my singles than I do by hitting them.

Foot positioning.
Bracing.
Stance width.
Leverage.
Bar placement.
Current muscle group weakness.
Makes sense. Starting from a low weight on this program has definietly been helping me sharpen technique in all those categories. Understand now why one must respect the Iron and gradually progress.

You can also do both. Do all your heavy sets lowbar and then after the heaviest set do 3-5 backoff sets where you do high bar and go atg + plus a pause on the last rep. Ive been doing it this way for a while and been seing decent progress.

So for example next week my top set is 335 x 3. Then after that I go back down to 260 and do 3x5 highbar and go as low as I can

@trap101 This is doable too but also completely unnecessary as well.

Once you learn how to squat low-bar you won’t need to practice high-bar squatting as well. There’s no added benefit.
