My squats will and deadlift will suck due to injuries and disability...I can only get so strong. That aint my fault...but you bet your sweet ass I will be strong. I will be that dide with cane in the squat rack...DROPPIN DOWN AND GETTIN MY EAGLE ON!

Well most folks hitting 1k+ aren't putting the bar on their traps, they're squatting low-bar anyways. :yeshrug:


Only folks I know that put up big numbers high-bar are Olympic weightlifters (aka Oly lifters). YMMV. :ehh:
If I was ever to squat low bar I’ll be over 1k and that’s underestimating how much more id lift vs high bar (current 1rep max is 315 with no belt or wraps)

265 bench
405 dead lift
365 back squat

Is 1035

But alas not everything is for everyone

If I was ever to squat low bar I’ll be over 1k and that’s underestimating how much more id lift vs high bar (current 1rep max is 315 with no belt or wraps)

265 bench
405 dead lift
365 back squat

Previous wrist injury from boxing, low bar out of the question for me pleighboi I was trying it out with bar 65lb 95 lb and felt a searing sensation in my wrist :hubie:

I also have no urge to compete so learning low bar don’t further my goals

Can't front this is my paranoia as I'm upping the weight. Im steady thinking what's gonna happen when I stall mid rep?....:lupe:... Been thinking Im gonna roll back on my heels amd have the side bars in the rack catch the bar n weight...

I may also have to start practicing low bar..... just to be versatile... .
