Na breh squeezing the bar helpsI've been using suicide grip for the past 4 years there is a major difference imo.
I have a hex trap bar at the crib just for thatif I didn't have my cambered bar I'd ohp with the trap bar.
@Gully Bull is right ohp is the top 3 exercise of the upper body. I'm taking ohp over bench press everytime. That's where the real strength lies.
Except nobody ever asks how much you OHP, and the lift is rarely contested in weightlifting competitions.

For awhile I was doing other exercises to build my chest…I been in the gym consistently for a good 7 months now. I been underweight for most of my life but I managed to get up in the 160’s and been packing on muscle (I’m only 5’8). The bench press was intimidating at first but once I started getting more comfortable with it, I gained more confidence and now I’m benching 110lbs
