Planet fitness aint bad at all:ehh:
Work nights and moved to new area. Wanted something thats open 24 hours. Its big as hell and stays clean. Not too much traffic either. Only thing it’s lacking is squat rack. Way my knees and back be functioning these days fukk heavy squats and deadlifts

I pay $25 a month for Active&Fit through my employer's insurance. It gets me access to multiple 24 gyms and I typically use Anytime Fitness. Planet Fitness is terrible. The place is not a real gym. It's a scam designed to attract low effort casuals with a price so cheap they sign up and pay it but end up not going. That's why they don't have serious lifting equipment like a power racks. Last I knew all they had were smith machines and some dumbbells but beyond that Life Fitness weight lifting machines. I mean if you just looking to do mostly cardio they're fine but any intermediate to serious weightlifting they're not worth bothering with.

They got Gold's Gym, Anytime Fitness, Snap Fitness , LA Fitness, 24 Hour Fitness and others. You get the membership through them then bring that paperwork to the gym of your choice and they give you a membership. $300 a year is a great deal for access to all those places. I got about 2-3 different Anytime Fitness places I hit up locally depending on my mood.

Been going to anytime fitness for years. The equipment is the same other than power rack. There’s low effort casuals in every gym. Plenty of people that would look down on Anytime as not being a serious gym either

Great soccer game today. Hadn't played in 3+ weeks. Squats have definitely helped me be more explosive in my sprints.

Cardio is still pretty good. Nice rhythm so far, 4x in the gym, 2x upper days, 2x lower days. 1 day of 90-120 mins of soccer. 2 days of rest with some cycling tossed in for errands and the like.
