I’ma black man :birdman: but ima let you get your jokes off.:obama: For awhile I was doing other exercises to build my chest…I been in the gym consistently for a good 7 months now. I been underweight for most of my life but I managed to get up in the 160’s and been packing on muscle (I’m only 5’8). The bench press was intimidating at first but once I started getting more comfortable with it, I gained more confidence and now I’m benching 110lbs :blessed:

We all gotta start somewhere. :manny:

Except nobody ever asks how much you OHP, and the lift is rarely contested in weightlifting competitions. :francis:

Na but according to the strength standards you're not strong unless you OHP your bodyweight which is crazy but it's attainable. Alphadestiny is a vegan who OHPed 225 at 165lbs

Na but according to the strength standards you're not strong unless you OHP your bodyweight which is crazy but it's attainable. Alphadestiny is a vegan who OHPed 225 at 165lbs

There aren't any #PowderBoyz that don't OHP :dahell: so i don't know them. :hubie:


Not sure what strength standards you're talking about, but symmetricstrength takes all of your lifts into account. Very few folks are gonna have a high level of skrenf across all of their lifts.

Alphadestiny is also a 5 foot 5 inch manlet, so his OHP travels a lot less distance than me or @You know damn well's will. Still an impressive stat though. :whoa:

OHP 265 is going to happen. I gave up on 405 bench, I love my shoulders too much. I'm gone stick to repping 315

Yesterday was kettlebell press
Started out with 50lb then did one in each hand
Moved up gradually 60,70, finished with 88lb
We did conditioning/cardio
Lemme tell you, running up the incline hill is bad enough but now progressive overload has us doing these hills will someone pulling in you with the resistance bands my legs were :damn:
I got school in the am if I don't pick up night shift it's leg day at the gym
Better get y'all TUT muscles right :umad:

TUT workouts are designed to create tension in your muscles for a longer period of time, which leads to muscle growth
Workouts with slower reps cause your muscles to experience more time under tension, much more than with faster reps. The amount of time your muscles stay strained beneath a certain amount of weight will lead to an increase in muscle size.

Not even being :demonic: but dude couldn't even pass his Air Force PT test by BMT standards last time I checked and was so :flabbynsick: that the recruiter wouldn't let him take a practice ASVAB.


Dude ain't even close to being Plus Ultra.
