6’5 at 205lbs is kind of wimpy.Pushing 227 . I need to lose 22lbs. I am looking at my pictures from 7 years ago with abs. Need to cut down to 205lbs. I feel disgusting .

when you eat calculate your caloric for the day are mindful of how many calories you’re potentially burning from working out regularly.
You’re probably hitting somewhere north of 500 calories from just one session if not more.

My BMR is over 2100 calories. That's not working out, going to work, running errands, it's basically just eating and breathing.
My resting metabolic rate would be even higher than that, and any training sessions would further increase the amount of calories required - and that's for maintenance, and not the additional calories required to be at a surplus.
