Moar compounds. Seriously.

Broad at work seent me with the short-sleeve on and hit the :banderas: at the arms not even flexing. A couple of older white broads was grabbing em, they didn't give a fukk.

The whole time I'm thinking damn, we only do maybe 10 minutes a week of direct arm work (full-body) to maybe a dozen sets a week (upper/lower x6).:ohhh:

:takedat:

breh. Almost 90% of my training is compound movements. I found out early enough that they help me grow the targeted muscles well enough and make strength gains. Can’t remember last time I did a dumbbell chest fly or any off brand isolation movement for chest, back, legs, shoulders except lat pull downs.

The arms still won’t look as crazy as I want them :francis:
They say 16 inch arms are big, either my tape measure is inaccurate or I have body dysmorphia :francis:

Then you obviously need to lift heavier on the compounds. :manny:

Once you start pulling 5-6 plates off the floor you won't have to ask these questions.

And I have the dysmorphia too, so let's no go there. :sadcam:

Loosen up to prevent injury :hula: Go see the doctor because you're too loose and now injured.

Pick none. Coli poster picks both. :snoop:

Like @The ADD I don't stretch before lifting, and I don't even "just progressively warm up with patterns that mimic whatever I’m doing that session".

I wear a baselayer to keep my joints warm up top and wear my knee sleeves into the gym. By the time I've walked around setting up my rack, grabbing the bar I want to use, etc. and put my Oly shoes on, my knees are already to go.

I will sometimes do 2 or 3 ankle circles in between squat sets, but that's about it.

I roll right into bench and begin with 2 sets of 5 with just the bar, before doing my weighted warm-up sets. Deadlift I switch shoes and roll right into weighted warm-up sets.
:wow:

I might start stretching in the summer but since the temps hover below freezing most of the day and night during winter, I just crank the heat up on this mattress pad and go to sleep. Wake up all loosey-goosey, comfy womfy with the muscles like :ahh:. Only CNS fatigue is ever felt.:jawalrus:

I thought both @The ADD and I were older than you? :dwillhuh:

It's funny we were talking about mobility at work the other day and this young creh couldn't bend over and touch his toes (pause) either. I can do that shyt and don't do yoga or stretch like that (pause again).

Might have to accept :flabbynsick:doctrine

I just want to feel better again:to:

I’m heading to the Chinese buffet:sadbron:

Instant wifey status, even if she's a buffalo. :banderas:
That would be like a project to get her in shape. Only thing you really have to fix her caloric intake, while maximizing her output. Hardest part is just getting women in the gym because they think everything is about will cause them to have muscle like me.

When that’s only possible if you go the @bytchrunner1027 route.
