@Serious @MMSex put me on...nothing stressful on your joints...will help you get that rounded proportioned look to your body. SL turned me into a Squat fiend...doing it 3x a week. :gladbron:

Alright. I'm going to rest my shoulder this week and start the routine fresh on monday.

I'm just worried im gonna get bulky on this.
Did you see any muscle gains? or just pure strength
I'm aiming for that cut look but I'm down to get my strength up
(been doing a split for the first two months.. gained some size but my strength is just :snoop:)

Gains in my shoulders and especially legs..chest were already developed pretty well. This is mostly a strength regimen. Just watch your diet...and the "cut-ness" will be there.:obama:

Yo, I just downloaded the spread sheet for SL and put in my stats and its saying 80 lb squats and 80 lb bench on the first week.. :childplease:
I feel like that shyt is waaaaay too light.. What do you reccomend starting weight at?

w/e 80% of your max is...

The point is to use a weight, that you can get through 5x5...

It's harder than it sounds when you're doing it right...


Personally I started at:
Squat-225lb
Deadlift- 135lbs
Barbell rows-95lbs

Overhead press-45lbs(the bar)
Power clean-45lbs(the bar)

regular bench, decline bench, pec flys


I can't do pec flys but I'll see if I can do decline.

Dont do it. Stick to flat bench and shoulder press. Incline bench is just a mix of the two.

I have been doing behind the neck presses on the shoulder press machine (sitting w/my face facing the bench). shyt's lovely

I can do shoulder press but only light weights right now. I'm worried my upper chest is going to start to lag behind without incline bench. I do a lot of rehab work on my shoulder a lot of external rotation and face pulls but can't do behind the neck presses currently.
