Brehs, I need help slimming my waist down.

I've been doing calis for the past 2 months, muscles have gotten bigger, I feel a LOT better being active, and I can even SEE my abs now through the waist fat. But my waist ain't shrinking like I need it to.

Any suggestions that I can try?

If your goal is fat loss and you're not doing some type of medium-to-high intensity interval cardio training (tabata, jumping rope, sprinting, bike sprints, erg sprints, metcons, etc.) on the regular (3-4x a week), you fukked up IMO.

Also note that since you cannot spot reduce (choose where you lose fat from), the waist might be the absolutely last thing to go, especially for guys. (Fat distribution is based on hormones and genetics.)

I notice you didn't mention jumping jacks. I've been doing those but not regularly at all (think once a week). If I start doing those everyday, would that be a good substitute?

I have nowhere to sprint or bike, especially since it's about to get cold, And I'm not going to the gym due to COVID.

I do have a jump rope though, and if this rain holds up, then I can start getting outside in the back yard and doing those.

But jumping jacks, logistically speaking, is something that I could do everyday - if you think it would work.

Again, because you have little equipment and won't go to the gym, your options will be limited. I didn't mention lap swimming since most indoor, heated pools are in...gyms.

Seems like sprints and jumping rope will be your only viable option. And I'd be doing {whatever} form of cardio fasted of course, especially since you don't need to eat or carb up for calis like you might for heavy lifting.

Watching people deadlift and basically doing an L shape on every rep then holding their lower back after every rep :francis:

Overweight spicy cac was showing his fluffy spicy queen how to squat (knees pointed straight, leaning back, depth above parallel) and deadlift (legs locked out, close stance) on the Smiff machine.

I would would not say I’m skinny - just flabby and thick (:flabbynsick:) due to inactivity. 125 was my lowest. I’m 150 now and cannot budge above that no matter what I do. I’m in need of serious body recomposition and a little gain.

If I drank a quart of milk a day my guts would fall out of my ass. :whoa:

One yt dude asked what the hell I was doing squatting so often/few reps and I explained the kage-level powers acquired from Fully Body Sage Mode.

Dude had the :dwillhuh: :ooh: :why: combo of faces so I know he won't be squatting daily, aye @Gully Bull .:sas2:

Word . Squatting every day not for most gym goers


Speaking of squatting every day, I lost track of how many days I’ve squatted this month :whoo:

I upped my calories to accommodate the higher frequency of squats per week but other days I’m closer to maintenance





TLDR
my diet has fallen off a cliff .
I don’t know which way is up.
I’ve lost my whey.
I’m spinning my wheels :whoo:
