adidas got a sale on the powerlift 4 weightlifting shoes. Currently, lm squatting and deadlifting barefoot, should I consider buying a pair? It’s 60 dollars

I'm not a fan of Adi weightlifting shoes personally. Those aren't legit Oly lifting shoes, they're more of a hybrid.

Also, you wouldn't deadlift in them (it turns the pull into a deficit DL) and for squatting I know you can do much better.

Squatting and deadlifting barefoot/in socks means you're prolly leaving gains on the table btw.

:ehh: shouldn't but when you add in warmup sets, breaks, waiting for squat rack,getting weights plus 20min cardio sesh at the end, then yeah it does. But you gonna recommend one or not

So your actual workout is not 3 hours. :stopitslime:

When I say I am lifting for 3 hoursI mean I time that bytch from first set to the last and 180+ minutes went by, and that's just lifting. Not stretching, cardio, waiting for a rack, none of that. A true 3 hours on SL means you're putting up advanced numbers.


Honestly, unless you're moving at least 365 for a single (low-bar), I'd just stick to SL5x5. Medhi used to not advocate moving on until you were squatting at least 300. :ld:

What benefits do weightlifting shoes offer over socks? I can’t find a good youtube video on it

Im 152kg on the squat, 95kg bench, 75kg rows, 140kg deadlift
