First boxing class/lesson was yesterday.

Goodness gracious that was intense. Did some warm-ups on the jump rope, some calisthenics and worked on some bag drills. Focused more on correct punching form than on power.

I liked it as it was a nice change of pace. I also enjoyed the class/group setting way more than I thought I would. It’s nice to have a group to work with and I lowkey miss learning as an amateur. Reminds me of when I first got introduced to soccer and I’d try to imitate the shot technique of the pros.

Next part is how to balance lifting, boxing and soccer. Still want to play soccer 2-3x a week (just at one right now).

I found another soccer group that plays close to me on the weekdays but they require everyone to play with a mask :hhh:
