I wonder when this "covid restrictions lifted/gyms reopened" crowd is going to temper down.

Ofc it will. The same folks that were too lazy to be about it before the pandemic are just as lazy now. :comeon:

Be patient, they will be gone soon (my main gym is pretty empty for June already :takedat:).

Yea, that funny feeling in the lower back intensified today :francis:

These 1-2 day injuries that throw you off you’re routine are the worst.

And I have my boxing class Thu evening :snoop:

Need to make my workouts more intensive, I be slacking off too much at times distracted by my phone between sets.
Also need to track my calories and get a rough estimate of what I consume a day.

Been back just over a month making progress but not where I wanna be.
Was stalling on bench early on but made grip bit wider and had no pain in my elbows.
Think what I need to do is have more confidence in getting additional reps out I play it too safe at times due to no spotter and also focus on mind-muscle contraction and stretch my chest out on reps.

Chest has always lagged visually due to issues with pain and form, but think I've finally mastered it.

Need to shift this gut, hate it especially after I eat I be looking bloated.

Next week throwing in some Cardio 1-2x a week to help and for general fitness too.

What do ya'll do for Cardio? Im thinking some HIIT.
Dont enjoy the treadmill or bikes in the gym

Re: The bolded. What I like to do to up the intensity is to lower the weight after I’ve gotten my main sets in and then keep running my exercise till failure.

Re: Cardio. I swear by jump rope man. Really fun once you get your form down. Main thing is to get a rope with some good weight on it. Also, sports in general is pretty good. Soccer (and soon to be boxing) will become my main cardio. I’ll thrown in long bike rides and the occasional jog to mix things up a bit.

I was messing with the weighted rope and I went to the speed rope...for stamina purposes the speed rope is a gamechanger
