Low carb?
nah, carbs not as high as "the daily recommendation" but because i lift, i try to get a couple of servings of starchy carbs (potatoes, torille, cereal, bread, etc) and 1-2 servings of fruit

Is it a scale weight or body comp issue?
both need to happen, lost lean mass over the last 1.5yrs and gained. so scale weight should be moving, would be one thing if i was 10-15 within goal, but i need to drop 20-30. could just stop strength training and do LISS + diet, but since I already lost lean mass, not trying to be :flabbynsick:. could possibly be muscle being put back on, but i'm not feeling smaller

Monthly hormonal fluctuation may be fukkin with you.

But ya if you're truly stalling at 20-30lbs overweight something is way off in your approach.

Today was just one of those days...too gassed from yesterday’s DLs.

Used the day to do stretches and take a long walk. Important to still use gym time to get in some activity.

I’ll probably do Back Day (No DLs) + Squats on Friday to make up. Chest Day tomorrow.

Saturday I’ll go intense on cardio. Probably a long bike ride. Lunch & Dinner plans on Saturday plus Mother’s Day brunch on Sunday so gotta empty tank prior.

anaerobic day @ Mad. 10 work sets @ each of the 5 stations, 1:1 work:rest.

i don't get the point of olympic lifts, all that jerking seems stupid AF. cleans, snatches, jerks...what's the point of lifting like this for the average person? does this make me stronger? my muscles bigger?

Oly lifts aren't for size (hypertrophy), they develop speed and explosiveness. You cannot muscle up a significantly heavy C&J or snatch, you have to use technique and speed to accelerate your body under the bar at the right time, or else the lift will fail.

Yes, Oly lifts can help make you accelerate the bar through "power lift" sticking points, so they could make you stronger in a roundabout sort of way. Other than the assistance lifts associated with Oly lifting I would not expect much carryover into other areas of strength. :ld:

Y’all really gotta stop with suggesting fasting for people who clearly like to train with certain level of energy and maintain mass.

Fasting is limiting cals, she’s already doing that.
I work out hard everyday !!!!


Only time I even have issues is actually on my refeed days I feel sluggish after I eat .


fukk outta here fasting is the GOAT !!!


My fasted work outs are usually amazing .

I go three days no food and I’m Gucci .


The day I refeed if I try to sneak in carbs I pay for it .

When I keep it protein and veggies I’m good .

I’m not saying it doesn’t work for some but you are literally telling someone to limit cals when they already are. This ain’t new territory fam :manny:

The fact that you “pay for sneaking in carbs” should tell you something but what do I know.............
