My dude let me drive all the way cross town to come go to his gym and he didn't even show. (It's like 60 seconds from his house.)

@Cape Town JHB I agree with folks not posting receipts when talking fitness or nutrition. At least a headless body shot or video (:dame:).

I just watched some clueless emo Asian creh bench 95 pounds for 2-4 struggle reps while supersetting bullshyt upper body accessory work (cable flyes, pec dec).
:gucci:

Part of me wanted to be like "you might wanna finish benching before doing other execises" but it was more fun to watch him almost get pinned cause he had no safeties on the rack. :russ: You can't save em all.

Meanwhile, it's coli brehs built like twigs (@Swagnificent) posting advice (:skip:) or nikkas like @KingZimbabwe who think tall dudes can't bench (:what:), among other bullshyt. These the types that post advice and cap that helps perpetuate the cycle of misinformation, wheel spinning, and abandoned fitness goals that contributes to our obesity and weak lil nikka epidemic. :snoop:

(Special shout out to the bytch nikka @Art Barr and the gym p*ssy @NorthernLights. :pacspit:)

I just assume if it’s not generally in this sub-forum it’s not noteworthy relative to lifting/training. Someone up a thread about IF in TLR. IF can be fine but I don’t assume anyone in there is trying to grow or maintain muscle so.................of course it’s fine for weight loss when applied properly.

There exceptions but point being I’m not getting to worked up over anything posted about fitness in TLR.

Did you do the normal one or the advanced version ?
Not sure what the difference is. I just grabbed a template from google images and adjusted to my one rep max. I also did a bunch of accessory exercises after each session because as previously stated I had nothing to do but workout and recover all day lol

Normal. Jim Wendler's 5/3/1 has templates similar to advanced called BBS (Boring But Strong) but the percentage is lower (58.5% vs 75%).

I did BBS once for squats and my back was howling. I can't imagine how long doing Advanced GVT for that would take. :merchant:

Edit: Advanced GVT is prolly better for strength than regular GVT, which is prolly better for size (just like Boring But Strong is for strength and Boring But Big is for size). :ohhh:
