You can get shredded with just body weight exercises and a caloric deficit.

putting on size tho should be possible with whatever gym equipment is there
Yeah it’s a smith machine, lat pull down, cables, leg press, leg extension, calf machine, etc. lot of equipment in there.

Just like 10% bodyfat. I know it’s diet but I’m just emphasizing that it’s not a gym gym if that makes sense.
In simple terms yes you could. There are two ways to get to a lower BF percentage, lose fat to change the ratio or build muscle to (with limited fat gain) to change the ratio. Of course you can lose fat doing nothing but walking. Building muscle can be challenging with limited equipment but it’s dependent on what you have and how you attack it.

What @The ADD said, but building muscle will also be dependent on how much you have now.

@Germms you didn't give us a lot to go off of. How lean are you now? How quickly are you trying to accomplish this? What that diet looking like.

Midas well go post a pic (front/back) :dame: but just know a legit 10% is the level some fitness models are dieting down to hit before a shoot. :ld:

Basically I’m 20% bodyfat. I didn’t know 10% was that low. Should I aim for 15%? Rn I’m 220 and that’s on the heavy end for me.

Diet is high protein though.

Yeah but how are you determining 20%? If it’s not a dexa scan then it’s probably inaccurate and now you are chasing a false metric.

At a base level “we” can’t tell you a percentage to shoot for because we don’t know what your body comp is.

Diet should prolly be broken down into macros (i.e. X g carbs, X g fat, X g protein), it'll make it easier to see if it's working, and if it's not, easier to manipulate.

This will give you some idea of what legit leanness looks like (:dame:) at different percentages.

Most cats, especially on here, have no idea what their b.f. % is. Cats talmbout they 10% but have no striations anywhere except their forearms. Cats with obvious love handles talking that :duck: like "I'm about 8%". :mjlol:

Edit: This chart puts things into a little bit better perspective.

Also see 13.2B* on Normal ranges of body weight and body fat for a comparison of various athletes.
*take this with a grain of salt

I can't see anything but most dudes that workout somewhat regularly will fall between 10 and 20%. Over 20% is :flabbynsick: and under 10% is :salute: status (assuming you're not a twig).
