Thought my hammy was good to go but I still need it to heal.

Was playing soccer this morning, had a ball played to me in space that I sprinted for. Once I accelerated for the ball I felt the left hammy act up.

I moved to defensive midfield which required less sprints from me.

Still glad I got a game. I pulled like 80 hours last week. Just needed to exercise and rest.

Now that year end stuff is done I should be able to resume my gym schedule.

First nice weather weekend of the year so we called up the gang to run some pickup soccer. Some high school kids popped up randomly so we had 8v8 for about an hour of the time we were out there.

I definitely have the right balance of quickness, speed and power now. Shooting was on point for not having played since November. Ball felt at home on my feet like I hadn't taken a break either since I dribble/juggle around the office a lot when we have dead time

Just gotta work on that endurance cause there were so many times I'd get the ball w/ about 15 yards of space to run and I was just too gassed to do anything other than put a ball in. I know where I need to be now though :wow:

They're not allowed in most gyms.

The gyms that do allow it are usually on your ass for the slightest bang because the few slapdikks who dropped +400 lbs on concrete from waist-height fukked it up for everybody.

Whats left are specialized gyms or the random gym that has rubber plates and/or deadlift platform.
I’ve never been to a gym that didn’t allow deadlifts other than visiting Planet Fitness one time. And none that I’ve been to had specific deadlift platforms or rubber weights.

Had something like this on Saturday. I was taking a break, but there's a guy there doing jerks because he thinks he a professional powerlifter since his Instagram bodybuilding career didn't take off. he fails at 225 and it clanks of the squat rack then bounces off the floor twice. One of the owners who was there Saturday comes back and tries to blame me, but I said look at the camera and you can watch him fukk up. Other dude, comes in and says yeah it was my fault before it got out of hand. Dude then waits for the owner to leave tries it again and drops it from the top of the rep when the owner leaves talking bout it was easy that time:gucci:.

Can't wait to come in and see a notice saying all deadlifts must be performed using the tire barbell now because of this dumbass:stopitslime:.

I've never seen a gym that didn't allow deadlifts.

The closest was when I went to an Anytime Fitness and they said not to do deadlifts right next to the wall because there was a salon next door and their equipment would fall.

This gym I'm at right now doesn't allow rack pulls though. :wtf: Now I gotta go to my other gym tomorrow. :martin:

Did the bench press again today, two sets of 15 and one set of 12 rep with the correct form. Thankfully a breh corrected me on how to do the bench press the RIGHT way. I was so embarrassed lol but I'm glad he corrected me.


Now I can't wait until Wednesday to bench press with proper form and a fresh body.
