slow cooked some redbeans and rice. it was really simple
this is 2 lbs of beans. 1st you gotta soak them over nigh in water or else you gonna be blazin saddles:bamafdup:

so after those are soaked chop up your veggies, I used 2 stalks of celery, quarter of onion, quarter of aa green pepper

then gather your meat I used 4 medium sized sausage links. Usually I go with conecuh but the store didn't have any so I got regular sausage. If you don't mess with swine you can use turkey sausage.

now red beans and risce is supposed to have some spice and the spicy sausage helps with that but also add your own seasoning. Since I didn't have spicy sausage I added a little more spice than usual with the red pepper flakes. But season the beans to your liking from :skip: level to :camheart: for us who like a lil more flavor :mjpls:

add 4 cups of chicken stock

I used a hamhock but you can use turkey necks or any kind of meat like this just for flavor

All this in the crock pot and put it on low for 8 hours

After about 6 hours take a cup of beans and mush them so this will give you a "sauce" and put them back in the pot

Let the rest cook until the beans are soft. Have your rice made and BOOM!

Putting together the team for spring soccer. Really gotta get some heavy sprint work in this time instead of wasting half the season playing myself into shape. Trying to hit the ground running this time and carry the team. 4 G / 1 A in 8 games after not playing for about 4 years wasn't terrible but man I should've at least doubled the goals. Maybe tripled. At least all 4 were amazing goals though.

Kinda sucks because I was hoping to get back up to 162 consistently by spring but I felt so much quicker once I got down to 152 midseason and it wasn't nearly as stressful on my knees/ankles

I'm trying to cut down on my sodium intake.

What other things do yall use to give your chicken and fish flavor? Herbs?

You could prolly get away with using lemon or a vinaigrette dressing depending on how much sodium is in it.
My homeboy had to watch his sodium and he just put a little pepper on it and rocked with it

I be 42 next month, Old Iron Warrior have to warm up my rotator cuff and stretch for 10 minutes before I do chest, arms and delt workout:mjcry:

And stretch for 10 minutes before I Squat before I do my warm-up reps, the days of going to the gym and hitting warm up reps then start hitting is over:ohlawd:

Also for the brehs that don't like/eat pork. Trader joe's has a smoked andouille chicken sausage that's pretty good if you have them in your area. :ehh:

Feels like the more water I drink the thirstier I get? In December I slowed down on the water and I felt less thirsty and felt fine. Now I’m back to drinking 60-70 ounces (I weigh 140) and my thirst is insatiable. One time I went up to 90+ ounces and was still thirsty. Idk what’s up with that. All 2018 I was drink 60-70 ounces a day and always felt thirsty .
