Came to NYC to see my sister and was able to throw in a good bike workout.
Biked from Upper East through Central Park to the MET. Headed from the MET all the way to Brooklyn via the Williamsburg Bridge. At least 12 miles when all said and done today. Got back home absolutely drained.
Man, NYC is such a bikeable city. If I lived here I'd be doing this every Saturday.
Get up nice and early and just bike the city. Feeling the wind and just feeling free.
That's gonna be my next investment. A nice city bike that I can use on the weekends in DC.

Fun is a gross understatement man.
I had an absolute blast. NYC traffic moves slowly so I never felt in danger of getting hit. The best part was the docking stations all over the place. I stopped at a small festival not too far from the New York Times office, docked my biked walked around for 10 mins then picked back up.
I got a trip to London in 3 weeks and I plan on doing the same thing. If I get Amsterdam and Paris I'll do the same as well.
Biking is really the best way to sight see. Faster than walking but more fun than the subway.
I'll start doing the same thing with DC as well.
6 months?
Idk about 6 months but there was a period of time (~6 weeks) were I was eating mainly clean whole foods and very little processed foods. I went out one weekend and had pizza, wings and general bar food. The speed at which I got terrible gas/bloating was ridiculous.
The longer my body goes without ingesting crap, the faster I feel the "downing" of my system after eating crap. I feel bloated, tired, hazy and just crappy as a whole.
