Came to NYC to see my sister and was able to throw in a good bike workout.

Biked from Upper East through Central Park to the MET. Headed from the MET all the way to Brooklyn via the Williamsburg Bridge. At least 12 miles when all said and done today. Got back home absolutely drained.

Man, NYC is such a bikeable city. If I lived here I'd be doing this every Saturday.

Get up nice and early and just bike the city. Feeling the wind and just feeling free.

That's gonna be my next investment. A nice city bike that I can use on the weekends in DC.

I remember DC having a lot of flatland...but i stayed in the touristy part

One of the things I miss most about the city. I used to commute all over like 3-4x/week when the weather was nice.

Did an 18 mile ride yesterday. Hills had me fukking gassed

Honestly I didn't even plan to bike as much as I did.

I went to a Ramen shop in SoHo, came out and was walking around when I saw the Citi Bike station. Was like, "I haven't rode a bike in a while, why not?" :ehh:

Did like 15 mins and was hooked. It's faster than walking but waaaaaay more fun than taking the train.

Especially in NYC where there are dedicated bike lanes. Also swerving in and out of traffic is the GOAT.

Only downside about that Citi bike thing is you can also go on rides in 30 min clips or else they start charging you at a higher rate.:francis:

Once I got to the Met in Upper East side I was like: "Lemme just bike to Bushwick" :ohhh:

Rode through central park for a bit then set my GPS for Brooklyn.
Going over the Williamsburg bridge and look over at the Financial district :wow:

NYC is really one of the all time GOAT cities.

Once I settle down with all my planned travel I'm getting a bike ASAP. Gonna start riding in DC on the weekends.

I'll never understand people getting swole off 3 sets of 8 reps :dahell:
Reading some workout routines and they're saying bench press, 3 sets of 6. How do you even get a pump from that? :dahell:

German volume training tho :banderas:
Best results I've ever seen. But I've taken a 4 month break, and I've lost everything :mjcry:
