First one on one w my oly lifting coach since I got back from Greece and Italy today. Surprisingly hopped right back into it pretty well after almost 2 weeks off. We scaled back on the percentages on the complexes a bit but did a lot of hang and low hang sequence work which really tests positioning and technique. It also really helps to learn to not pop the hips too early and keep the hamstrings loaded until the final pull. It’s so hard to keep your hips low when the weight gets heavy though. Everything you’ve ever learned from deadlifting has you thinking of a completely different hinge when the bar gets heavy and your hips want to instinctively rise. I’m getting there though. Also working on a different set up that helps w the hamstring loading and locking the lats in better from the ground. I fukking love this shyt man. There is so much room for improvement and I love these little baby steps I’m taking.

I do this during a cut, but when I'm not cutting fukk that. I drop down to maybe once every 3 days just to make sure shyt's not out of control.

Started an IG for my fitness shyt... YT is too much work, this is way easier. Took these after my workout today



I think I'm about where I got to last year.... I guess it's going to take a different approach to get to the next level. I don't know that it's worth it but I'm gonna see what I can do in August :yeshrug:

You might have to lose that arm to get to 165:troll:

Big picture you know what needs to improve but on this run I think (limited photos of course) you’ve dropped as much as possible under the circumstances.

You might be right for this year, but I was leaner last year. I'm looking at pictures

I think next year I'm gonna skip the cut and regroup for 2020

Nah man 4 whole chickens is overkill. 2 chicken breasts alone is tough work, but 4 WHOLE roasted chickens?

Breh, I always knew you were on top of your diet game but you got shredded my man. Not really sure how much more you even have to lose but :salute: Nice work.

I don’t have the discipline. I’m so lazy and I drink way too much to control my diet properly. That being said I’m actually very pleasantly surprised how little flab I put on after being away. I literally had pasta, pizza and wine for lunch and dinner for 6 days straight w little to no exercise. I just had a huge dinner and ice cream and I actually think I look better now than I did before vacation.

For all that indulging you def don't look bad. And truthfully if you're happy that's what's really important. You're enjoying what you're doing and not giving too much of a fukk. I'd cut some of the drinking though... keeps you in a fog, blunts performance etc.

Main thing for me is not putting this bullshyt ahead of what really matters. Truthfully if I can figure out how to cruise while being decently lean I'm gonna slow it up and switch shyt up.

I’m telling you man, knowing you just had a kid, married, career, etc. you did well.
