Essential Random Gym Thoughts Revisited...

Get excited for a new gym you can't use brehs
A new Gold's gym opened up about 10 mins from my house. So now I have one 2 mins from work and 10 mins from home. Good set up

I call the new Gold's gym to inquire if it's corporate owned vs. franchise owned (long story short, if you have a membership at corporate, you can't go to franchise owned and vice versa - I have a corporate membership).

Lady at the new gym confirmed they're corporate

Lady: "But you may need to upgrade your membership"
Me: "What do you mean?"

Lady: "We are the first Level 2 gym in the area. The gym you have is Level 1. How much do you pay for your membership?"

Me: "$35.00"

Lady: "Yea, the lowest offering we have is $50. Would you like to upgrade? You can walk in to our gym and upgrade"

Me:

Level 1? Level 2?
This got damn exercise not the fukkin matrix

Decided to switch up cardio, and got back on the stair mill and damn near died after 5 minutes

The Level 2 gym has more space, more equipment and nicer amenities. Level 1 is kind of your no frills gym. Has the basics and gets the job done.

Where I work has like 4 or 5 gyms on site...only have to pay 30 bucks for the year to have access to all of them ...cancelled my 65 a month membership to my old gym ASAP when I heard that lol
