How's our fitness progress coming along?

If you were to give yourself a mid-year grade what would it be?

B+

I definitely feel healthier and look leaner...

I wish I would have went a lil harder gym wise, but when cutting you will have those low energy days...

No real complaints...

Just continue to grind out

Focus and discipline just aren't there. I'm mostly coasting off of the huge gains I made last year. shyt's settled down though so I'm hoping to finish strong in July and then get back to gains in August.

Thankfully no injuries or major setbacks.... just plugging away.... but 2015, 16, 17, every year was way better than the last... this was the first time the progress stalled, at least on the cut. We are working through it though :manny:

Do you guys work out on vacation?

I'm thinking about taking the week off from lifting

Nothing full blown but I will get a few runs every now and then.

When I was in Jo'Burg and Nairobi, I went on like 2 runs in the 2 weeks I was there. I needed a few more because in South Africa they eat a lot of meat and no lie, after a few days I was mad bloated. I needed a lot more fiber and those guys aren't too big into veggies.

I did do a lot of walking though. Going from site to site adds ups. I think I was walking close to 3 miles each day between all my travels.

I do advise drinking a lot of water though. Especially if your vacation involves a lot of drinking and partying like mine did.

Now that I think about it, that holiday probably stalled my progress and got me in this 2 month plateau :francis:

I think it depends on where you're at. If you're just starting out on a cut then I don't think it helps. You want momentum and progress before you start "cheating".
