Had a pretty good leg workout yesterday. I look back at all those months where I was avoiding the doctor and trying to work through my leg tightness issues and thought I was an idiot. Couldn't even do 135 lbs squats.

Barbell squats.
45 lbs. x 10
135 lbs x 10
135 lbs x 10
225 lbs x 10
225 lbs x 10
225 lbs x 9
205 lbs x 10


Note: if you have chronic muscle tightness in your hamstrings and buttocks and it comes back the next morning even if you stretch, massage, foam roll your leg muscles, then see an orthopedic surgeon. Acupuncture, chiropractors, massage therapy, or crystal healers won't fix the root cause.

My soccer boots come in tommorrow and my league starts next Wednesday.

At least with a league games should be a lot more competitive.

What other sports can a breh get into that'll give me a good cardio workout? :jbhmm:

Basketball out the question though. These knees gonna be finished.

Man i can see why some people push themselves to go 6-7 days a week.....took 8 days off do to being out of town and resting my shoulder, first day back just did 4 hours w/o fully realizing it til i asked the lady up front what time i checked in and could have done another 30-45 just off of adrenaline...that internal fuel to make up for lost time/gains is real....

lol was just about to recommend playing ball...doing full court drills by yourself will really help w/o the stress of competitive games...

just running, jogging, sprinting in the hottest part of the day..will have your cardio/stamina on point..stay hydrated though

I'm convinced some of these dudes are trolling or live in a country that has no real fitness culture.

I never see anything remotely like this in the gym.

As opposed to a common gym crowd that has chest/back/arm days? That avoid leg workouts? That bytches come in and do some elementary shyt to be seen with yoga pants?:skip:

Hurt my lower back again setting up for dumbbell bench yesterday. Picking anything up from the floor doesn’t agree with my lower right side. Taking it easy for a week. Been massaging my piriformis muscle which has helped. Also going to see a chiropractor to see why this shyt keeps happening.
