I feel so damn enlightened and free of the burden of constantly trying to make gainz

The maintenance lifestyle really is great

It doesn't have to be stagnant either. There can still be gains, can still be goals to hit (though they will come much slower)

I am probably the most overall healthy person in my circle yet I barely stress about anything food or gym related anymore.

Don't care. Too old. Nobody I care to impress.

started working out 2 months back.

Knowing you're getting stronger every week is one of the GOAT feelings :ohlawd:

but i don't really feel my lats when doing lat pulldowns. Any suggestions?

Make sure you are getting the full range of motion. Your elbows should be locked and straight at the top, and you should make contact with the bar and your chest at the bottom. Hitting the lats is all about that stretch. I had to take a LOT of weight off the bar once I started doing that.

Think of yourself as trying to put your elbows in your pockets. This form cue will also prepare you for pullups/chin-ups down the road

This is the stage I've been at for years.....

Still stronger and in better shape than most people who probably spend a lot more time at the gym than me :yeshrug:
A strong diet and not drinking goes a long way.

:patrice: but I still need to work on implementing more cardiovascular exercises or walking more in to my life. That's the shyt that really counts at the end of the day as far as being fit and healthy, not being dieselled up. Jacked up no neck cats die everyday from CHD. Make sure to regularly do cardio brehs and brehettes....

I would walk daily if I had a treadmill in the house. Aint nothing to watch a TV show amd walk while its on. Easy.

Ita harder when you actually have to go somewhere and dedicate time to cardio. Motivation just aint there

I been trying to incorporate 10 minutes on the step mill at a high pace for cardio, combined with more circuit work

I run for 30 minutes after every workout and the way my body and mind feels throughout the day is. :blessed:

I'm trying to get my resting heart rate down. It's a process though :patrice:
