Took like 20 mins to cool down. Used a stepping still like item to push a couple plates across the gym floor for an uncalculated amount of time/sets. Need to just figure out it name so I can add it to my workout log dictionary

My temptations couldn't overtake me just now. So we driving around the beach and my boy says he needs to use the bathroom. We drive over to a Walgreens and go in. He gets done and goes to buy himself a pack of cigarettes. I'm hanging around and grab a pack of reeses pieces cups and get in the line. While in line I put it down on the counter and say to myself, "fukk this. I don't need all this sugar in my body right now". That self control nearly got me. Not trying to eat no junk right now.

Went on vacation for a week then came back and said fukk it. Did first workout in about two weeks, wasn't as bad as I thought it would be:dame:

Although I love squats, my knees felt great taking some rest. I guess I'm just going to have to face the fact that my joints are :flabbynsick: at 30.:to: Although going back to the stronglifts routine shot my numbers up, squatting 3x a week just might be too much:to:



The hard part is getting my diet back on point, although I wished there was a decent place that had a breakfast buffet like my hotel:noah:
Towards the end of my last bulk my knees were humming. I was forced to take 3 weeks off for a vacation in Europe. When I came back I was able to hot everything with a full head of steam with fresh joints. Just have to pace yourself. Joints have different recovery patterns from muscles so that has to be factored in

Oh for sure, it's plenty a thots at the job that be on the kid but it's just when you go to the gym and see nikkas looking better than you :dame: you start to feel some type of way. But I'm cool, just gotta continue putting that work in.

Had to bark on a "lifetime fitness trainer" earlier and tell him to step the fukk off.


It's why I'm working on my garage gym as quick as I can get it done, commercial gyms when they're busy are hell to try and get your work in if you're relatively strong.

Anybody that knows me knows getting me angry isn't easy to do.

I'm at my top sets on squats 5 sets of 3 with 405 for the day. Last set gonna be an AMRAP


Dude comes over while I'm finishing set three I'm doing all of the "don't talk to me right now" body language signs.

So dude hovers and then starts waving to get my attention.


He's like :damn: that's a lot of weight man.

I try and be nice so I laugh and kinda downplay it so I don't look like a humble brag by saying this is a weight I handle regularly just fine.


he keeps going on and on about how I really should have the bumpers up and maybe even a spotter and I should be wearing a weight belt and he just wants to see me be safe. Blah blah blah like for nearly a minute straight.

Dude was a maybe late 40's white guy so definitely not some young I know it all because I saw it on YouTube gym guru.

shyt completely takes me out of my mojo because I ended up only getting 6 on the AMRAP but I had 8-10 in mind when I was in kill mode before dummy came and fukked it up.


I finally hit him with the "I hear you but do you mind?!?"

Commercial gyms during busy hours, I probably needed this reminder of why I avoid them.
