I now weigh 163 lbs. Highest I've ever been in my life. I used to box from 126 to 135lb and was super skinny and minimal body fat. I'm 5'9 and have really long limbs and a short torso.
I started lifting at home with literally the bar and have been adding weight every session. Because I've never lifted weights before I wasn't sure how much I could lift so just started with nothing and worked my way up.
Just have a barbell and plates so Ive been doing squats, deadlifts, pushups (no bench at home), bent over rows, military press.
I look healthier now than when I was extremely fit and fighting. Ive ran out of plates and am going to have to join a weightlifting gym.

Its been like that for the year..i work nights so i got the whole day to myself to get right.. My mind not into it.. Man im 6' 4 220 and never took this shyt serious..i know once i get my head out my ass im a be a monster out here.. I need motivation!!

Carbs ain't the problem famI need to really focus on cutting carbs. That's my latest goal. No more bread at breakfast and no more unnecessary bread. Reading the label on the package, one slice had like 9 grams of carbs or maybe it was 9% but still too much. I think a cut in carbs will help me get over this small plateau. Bread retains water so cutting will help with that too.

I'm gonna try and record a quinoa recipe video this weekend. Also prob gonna load up my cut "transformation" video this weekend. You gotta add flavor though, shyt is boring as fukk. I like to throw in some kale, mushrooms and garlic. You gotta cook it in chicken broth as well, shyt has zero salt
I couldnt spend more than 15 mins in a gym...now i get atleast a hour
the motivation for me was looking at my stomach and how i've gotten
what worked for me was starting off with dumbells to failure and then going to the pull up bar
after that i go to the leg press and go right back to dumbells..that can easily get you 25-30 minutes
then end with cardio on the treadmill for 30 minutes..
once you find your groove, its off to the races
now as i begin to experiment with more things, my time will naturally increase
make sure you got your headphones and music
Also faster tempoed music makes the time feel like its going faster
So I finally went back after a month off and they've finally completed the refurbishment. The gym looks clean as fukk with brand new equipments, fancy cardio machines and the like. Had me walking around likeWent back to the gym today after two weeks off ready to put in work and these mutherfukkers are doing some kind of refurbishment so the entire weight room is off limits. Only cardio machines are available
Ask them how long it'll take and the say about two weeks
So now I'm I pretty much have to do some callisthenics and cardio while I wait. I was so heated when I left
