Dumbbell bench with 115lbs last night felt insanely easy. Time to move up. Need to buy some more 2.5lb plates. You can't just jump up 10lbs on dumbbells :whew: that "just noticeable difference" is very low with them

Ive been hitting the gym for years and years (down here in daygo). And recently, ive been noticing a growing trend with dudes wearing full on compression pants/tights w/o any shorts over or anything. Since when did dudes start making the call to look like females in the gym ? How can you be in the gym trying to be masculine while looking feminine ? :scust:

Did some dumbbell bench press and my last rep my ego wouldn't let me drop them so that weight was on my chest a good 4 seconds.:wow:

So I was trying to bulk to 180 or even 190 and was at 175 but I got really sick back in April. I'm now down to 160 and still haven't kicked whatever was making me ill. I still get nauseous out of nowhere and I get cramps after about 30-45 minutes of lifting heavy. All the other symptoms stopped. Blood work was fine. X Rays were negative. Ultrasound showed nothing wrong. Just went to a new doctor and got blood work to test for gluten intolerance. I haven't been able to train as hard as I was before nor eat as much. Strength took a dip. I definitely lost some muscle mass especially in my shoulders. They're pretty flat now and I had some nice front delts.

I'm probably going to deload and just do some push ups and see if I feel better. I'm an ectomorph and putting on weight is tough so to lose 15 pounds after I worked so hard has me depressed:mjcry:

Brehs that don't meal prep, what are so go to spots you guys hit up that are calorie friendly? Panda Express is one, Then theirs Chipoltle and I hear Taco Bell has a "power menu" thats "fitness focused".

I gotta hit my midpoint weight goal by the end of the year (with a short term goal by at least October)

I hate cooking. I get excited like I climbed Mt Everest when I prep for the week or just cook a meal.

that and I get tired of the food by the 2nd day. I rather just spend 10-15 on a meal and call it a day. My girl mainly cooks soul food type stuff so that aint the move when you trying to diet.

I got some Olympic Lifting done today. Clean and jerks. A lady helped me on my form a lot and it's excellent now :myman:


Ended up chatting this one broad and even though we talked for 30+ minutes I think I fukked it up at the end. I should have left sooner even though we were working in back and forth.

She gave me the "It was nice talking to you AdvantageSouthpaw" thing twice but I tend to be pretty outgoing and social when I am genuinely interested in someone.

We will see if I made the right impression :yeshrug:

What is considered the best recovery supplement? I have one I don't really care to take. I'm looking for like an overnight recovery.
