why are some multivitamins so damn expensive? I've seen some for $20 plus. I look at the back and they have the same vitamin-b/c zinc etc as one a day and one a day is only $8?

Quality of the vitamin source. A lot of cheap vitamins are made with synthetic forms of a vitamin, you end up not even adsorbing most of it. My multi is $39 when its on sale...but usually $45-50/bottle.
