I can't get fat. Trust me I had a broken lower back once and couldn't get out my bed for like a year. I did nothing but lay down and eat and I was still skinny when I got out. I have really long skinny limbs.
Were you eating a massive amount of calories during that period :leostare:

Nah but I was eating more calories than I was using laying in bed :skip:

So join a gym then? From what I've seen weightlifting is easy compared to boxing in terms of the workload. Squats, deadlifts, bench press, military press and bent over rows? With big eating and maybe creatine? :lupe:

I'm slightly confused on the goal. Do you want to gain weight or muscle?

Lifting is as easy or as difficult as you make it.

What weight would I be gaining tho? I guess the goal is to bulk up a little bit. Would I bulk up and get thicker pause by just eating big? Or do I have to lift weights. I'm not trying to be lazy. I'm just genuinely confused about weight gain. I've never had to gain weight before.

Adding muscle depends on two primary factors:

Additional caloric intake
Stimulating muscle growth by tearing the muscle down and having it repair at a stronger level.

If you want to add muscle you need to eat and lift generally speaking. You could do body weight routines but there are limits to how much muscle you can add that way over and extended period.

Today's lesson: don't try to reinvent the wheel.

Leg day. I'm in the squat rack. Decided to try something new and do hack squats. Bad idea. I have 135 on there. I go down to pick up the bar and stretch too far and feel some pain on the sides of my chest. Maybe due to doing chest and shoulders yesterday so I'm like hold up, let me take it nice and easy. I try a few and I just don't feel comfortable with it. Bar bumping against my butt, form must've been all wrong. Just didn't feel right. So I put 185 on there and do regular squats. Then I go back to 135 and do 3x20 of calf raises. Then I decide to do some front squats. I'm like I'll just keep the 45s on there. I see buddy on the squat rack next to me doing them with 25s and wearing a weight belt. So I'm like hold up, this guy looks more advanced than me. Let me just try 25s. Did like two sets and said fukk it. Went and messed with a few of the leg machines. Did some captains chair leg raises with a 12.5 dumbbell i saw laying nearby and did some post workout leg stretches before doing a short stint on the elliptical. Chilling in the sauna now to cool off and cleanse. Best not to try any new exercises or use too much weight before I kill myself out here. :francis:

Hack squats don't work if you have a large ass...pause...from experience. I tried front squats today and that shyt was hurting especially my bad shoulder. Will keep trying at it a few more times b4 I bush the front stance. :francis:
