Damn son. I hear skipping breakfast screws you over. Try a meal replacement shake for breakfast, my shakes are no more than 300 calories and they fill me until lunch
I have been skipping breakfast for years. No sexism but for men I think it's a waste. Breakfast is generally not very healthy.

Mental? Do u have an eating disorder? I am eating about 3000-3200/day now but once I start cutting in April I'm gonna chop that down to like 2200. Thats after cardio so that could be as much as 3500-3800
My mental block is cardio. The reason why I decreased my calorie intake was, because I know that I don't have the mental and physical stamina to do heavy cardio, or to lift too heavy in weights. You're able to consume that many calories because you're probably a cardio beast. All those calories will work together in your body to help you power through your workouts. If I consume that many calories, I know I don't have the mental and physical stamina(because of my panic disorder) to do heavy cardio that'll convert all those calories into bulking muscles. My body is muscular in spots because of the weight-lifting, but I know I can't consume as many calories daily as you do, because I know that it'll all just turn into fat, instead of turning into good, lean, muscle like ya'lls bodies. If I get my mind right, in which I feel as if I can walk or run a mile without having a panic attack, than I'd DEF up my calories significantly. Otherwise, I'll just gain fat again consuming 2200 to 3000 calories a day.

Are you in a gaining phase or cutting phase. Because you are not gaining any muscle on 1000 kcal/day as a man, unless u are like 3' tall. I don't do much cardio. Maybe 1500kcal a week and that's being generous. A little over 200kcal/day on average. So not a lot. I have a decent maintenance level because I let my metabolism do its thing. Right now your metabolism is probably destroyed. That cascades. Aside from keeping u from gaining muscle, your low calories are fukking with your hormones, which are probably making your panic disorder even worse.

I can't speak to your condition but you should probably eat man. There is nothing good that will come from continuing to starve yourself and try and lift. You will gain a little fat... so what? You need some to gain muscle and just to be a healthy human being. Pls eat breh :mjcry:

No skipping breakfast is fine as long as u consume your calories for the day .

I'm doing IF and I can't do breakfast during he week . I work nights so it's just not possible for me .

Don't worry, I upped my calorie intake this past week. My body looks way healthier than it all sounds. But overall, you're right. I definitely under ate, and I need to consume more. You're right. By consuming more, it'll help my metabolism do what it do. I need to eat, to burn fat.

Exactly. As long as you keep the calories reasonable you won't gain a ton of fat. I am doing OK at my current calories and having my metabolism at 100% will make cutting a lot easier. Makes lifting and generally living nicer too :russ:

Fast for 16 and the other 8 get all your calories .

You gotta find a 8 hour block that works for u because that's the only time u can eat .

it works....although im trying to hold off on doing regularly until after I'm done doing this biggest loser contest at work on the first week of april...one side effect of it i like is i sleep extremely well when im fasting..don't have to take the melatonin..out cold for 6-7 hours...its bliss :to:
