I did a lot of snow shoveling since I couldn't make it to the gym. Bad news, I didn't lose any weight because I snacked on too much food sitting around the house when i wasn't shoveling.
@Fonsworth You had some tips breh?I don't have gym access. I just use free weights in my garage, and calisthenics...
Because of the inclement weather, I've had to lift weights in my cardigan sweater, pants, a hat, and Tims for the last 2-3weeks. If I had access to cable weights, creatine, and such.....
Trying to get swole when one is broke, is tough..
I don't have a whip.Few questions: what's your budget? you have a car? any allergies or injuries? from your pics you have a base to work off of but what is your goal?
Strength training is going to be important for you, its the best way to lose weight but won't happen if you don't manage your diet, sleep pattern and stress right.I don't have a whip.
My goal is to be somewhat skinny/muscular I guess. I want a more defined chest/abs/arms.
No allergies, but I do have asthma. It kinda makes it difficult to explore my full potential when it comes to lifting heavy. But I'm getting past that, little by little.
That stretchRomanian deadlifts with plates underneath your toes....
Yep. My diet's basically been chicken breast wraps(with flax seed tortillas) and a protein shake. That's all I've been eating daily for the past week. No juice, no soda, just water..Strength training is going to be important for you, its the best way to lose weight but won't happen if you don't manage your diet, sleep pattern and stress right.
I personally eat a lot of grilled chicken breasts...in sandwiches with a lot of veggies, salads or even with roasted potatoes, corn and spinach.
Salmon is another go-to for me...
when I eat beef its grass fed but you shouldn't bother cause that shyt costs money
Since you don't have transportation and by proxy I'm assuming access to a gym, you should continue to focus on the bodyweight stuff...chins, push-ups, dips, goblet squats, lounges...
Idk if you have a barbell, bench and squat rack but if you do you can focus on the big three to really give you the gains you want.
As far as the asthma goes, it may have an effect on your ability to do circuits/train for hypertrophy , but if you lift heavier and slower, that may help...
I'm at work so I can't be as descriptive as I want to be sorry.
@krackdagawd uses/used the PHAT program that can be food for thought...it works I think there's a piece on diet in there as well if I'm not mistaken .
