Brehs help a brotha out. You should be eating 1g of protein for every pound of body weight, is that right? So if i weigh around 180 pounds I should be getting at least 180g of protein a day?

What happens if you go over? Is it possible to have too much protein in your diet?

Food costs so much brehs and i recently lost my job :mjcry: gonna have to find some alternatives

depends on your level of fitness and your body needs. It's really .8, which would be 120g for you. If you go over you just shyt it out....

Key thing to remember is that the body can only process about 20-30g of protein at once time...

Breh, don't get fooled by the marketing in muscle magazine. You do not NEED that much protein. If you are on steroids and want to be a bodybuilder than perhaps you do, but the normal person does not.

As was said in the post above, 120 is really the number that you should be shooting for but even if you can't get that, don't worry. Paying your bills is more important that feeding your body extra protein. You can go protein crazy again in the future when you have a new job. It aint that serious though.

I've seen dudes on bodybuilding forums having no problem maintaining their lean mass at 100g per day. Your body is very smart. It will adapt to whatever you feed it.

Stock up on cheap oats and brown rice and eat nice fiberous carbs. They will keep your body chugging along just fine and let your body use whatever protein you do take in for muscle repair.

The timing of ingesting Carbs and protein I believe plays a important role that's mostly overlooked.

Thanks brehs. 120g isnt too bad to maintain, im tryna do it without any protein shakes so I initally thought 180g or more would be near impossible for me without any whey.

I stacked up on some organic lentils and cous cous a few weeks ago as it was cheap and a new brand. that shyt is pretty decent and has hella loads of protein/fibre so that will help a lot

so your body has a limit on how much protein it can absorb during your meal?? for example, if my meal has 50g of protein, the 20g won't get absorbed? this is my first time hearing this so i'm confused.

I'm starting to think @Serious is right don't need all these vitamins and supplements when your diet is right :francis:

I haven't taken shyt all week been eating super clean .

I feel really good think i'll stick with this till maybe i feel as doe i need em :ehh:

Protein will be the only thing i take.

I'm also not counting calories anymore :manny:

Just gonna keep it clean as possible and eat when I'm hungry .

eatin too much protein is dangerous. It could shut down your kidneys. You'll definitely be constipated too.

Listen stop being obsessed with working out. The most important part is to be consistent. You wanna look brolic or be strong as shyt you gotta put in work for at least 3 years
Go to the gym 3-5 days a week and enjoy every session.

U will kind of look like a fakkit doing them but that is the price to pay to have nice buttocks. Low key the butt is prob the most important muscle in the body WRT staving off injury so its worth training. So gay tho
