I spent about 3 months cutting and went from around 195 to 177 (that was about a week ago) and I was at 177 for probably 2 weeks? I don't really have a number in mind as I just focus on physique. I'm seeing abs and definition but I'm just lean. I'm trying to get lean and full I guess as well, just some muscle mass/bulk to me but clean and not sloppy big.

appreciate the advice. i'll give that a try and switch my routine up to lift heavy at 3 sets 8-10 reps. right now I'm doing 4-5 sets at 12-15 reps with light weights.
Thats good progress breh. And you have been cutting for a minute. I would take a break. I looked so lean and full. I upped my cardio a little which helped with water.

I wouldnt mess with your routine either. You should go back to whatever u were doing before the cut and not mess with it. Good luck :salute:

Raleigh by way of Crooklyn

My n1gga, I had that so bad one day I had to stay home from work. We were still living in NY and it had snowed. I still wanted to keep the routine going but I ain't feel like struggling with the car, so I walked the 10-12 blocks to Richie's Gym (my Brooklyn heads will know what's up :myman:). I did legs and back and finished off with some cardio. Murdered legs so bad I was like

when I realized I had to walk back home in the freezing weather. Man when that DOMS hit... I couldn't even walk down the stairs.

the more I think about it, the better I feel about a break. it's tough as hell cutting while working and then hitting the gym afterwards. my body will probably fill itself out while bumping calorie intake up. did you go high carb/low fat during that time?

I went high protein (250-300g/day) low carb (~150g I think) during my cut and now I am medium protein (~200-220g) high carb (prob like 400+).

Other thing I would say is if you come back up to maintenance come back slow......... maybe add 100-150 daily calories max per week. Don't come right back up, that will probably make you softer than you want to be.

A two entree plate from Panda Express with chow mein and double teriyaki chicken has 85 grams of protein. :lupe:
