I wear sleeves every other squat session, I don't need them but I just like how they feel
I've been lucky, no issues for the old man.Up until now I've never used anything. And I wore runing shoes when I squatted and Vibrams when I deadlifted
But fukk.....my knees are tender right now. Over this last two weeks as I'm hitting all these consistent PR's they are getting worse and worse. So I'm done going raw. The weight is getting too heavy for my tiny ass old man frame
I just bought me a pair of 7mm Rehband knee sleeves that I'm going to wear every time I squat or deadlift heavy (<5 reps). I will continue to wear the Vibrams when I deadlift but I also copped me a pair of powerlifting shoes for squatting .....been wanting to cop a pair for the longest time
