When your friend is too tired to go out and another guy works early tomorrow and you have no dates or prospects lined up :mjcry:, you're then left with two choices. Eat ice cream and cookies while watching tv and playing video games, or go maintain your figure. Better this way so I can make room for tomorrow's junk food during football and night of champions. :manny:

Got a real interesting idea regarding Advanced GVT :jbhmm: instead of lightening the weight and going back to 10x10 I'm gonna keep the resistance the same and increase it to 10x6 for the next 8 weeks. Then 10x7 for the 8 weeks after that and so on until I reach 10x10 with the weight that I did 10x5 with :krs:

How many of yall have done squats with chains?

I have rarely felt my quads getting the same amount of action as my hams/glutes when doing barbell squats. Which makes sense, since the weakest part of the squat is in the hole (ham/glute dominant) and the strongest part is locking out (quad dominant).

Using chains seems to solve this problem....my whole leg 360° felt equally worked today. This makes your bar heavier at the top and lighter in the hole as the chains start touching the ground providing an even motion from top to bottom

There are apparently athletic advantages to doing these too since they train you to explode out of the hole and accelerate the bar into its heaviest point

Plus, the swaying of the chains makes your core put in overtime as well to stabalize the motion of the bar. You know them stability ball squats that dummies do? This shyt provides those same benefits without the stupidity of having an unstable base
Accommodating resistance compound training is by far the best thing to overcome a strength plateau. Chains and bands allow you to break mental/physical walls when you need assistance to come up off that ascending strength curve while going through full-ROM.

@Serious needs to get on that. :mjpls:

Welp, it finally happened to me too

I havent bought jeans in years....i been getting by with athletic pants, slacks, or an old oversized pair of jeans that i tightened up with a belt

Finally decided to buy some jeans today, and my thighs are too big for my waist:francis:

Need a 30 inch waist but almost every pair I tried on wouldnt go over my legs and ass comfortably.

I did finally find a 'relaxed' pair that fit but they hardly feel 'relaxed'

My quads aint even big so i can just imagine how you guys with actual big legs feel:francis:

I have a PT test coming up. Trying to get to 105 pushups in 2 mins this time, along with 13 mins for my 2 mile. After that, bulk season begins. :blessed:

It's been like that for years with me. There was a time when Levi's made baggy jeans. Baggy is not "in" anymore though. I get Levi's 569 Loose fit. That's between baggy and relaxed.

I did some IT band stretching with a foam roller. Man, was that painful, but it alleviated a lot of problems with both my knees for the past couple of weeks.
If your ligaments rigth behind your knees ever feel tight, do the foam roller thing for stretching the IT band. It's painful but works.
