I was driving around a part of town I don't usually visit and I noticed an old Gold's Gym had been converted into an "EOS Fitness."

Is that something that's happening in a lot of places? Are Gold's Gyms starting to go away?

Going back to a 3 day full body split with cardio on non lifting days.

Thoughts on 2 lifts per muscle group with 5 sets 30-40 total reps for main life and 3X12 for iso movement?

Ie.
Chest/Back/Leg
Bench 10,5,5,5,10 (1st and last set warm up/cool down)
Chest Fly machine or Dips 3X12
Lat Pull down 4X10
seated row 4X10
Squat 10,5,5,5,10
Stiff leg deadlift 4X8
How many times u working out a week

I think this can work. U are deep in the game though, u should have parts that gain easy and parts that dont. I would give more volume to problem parts and less to easy gaining parts. Also u can do a full body workout but not necessarily hit every body part every trip if that makes sense. I would also superset. I'm switching to a full body split once I come off this cut though. It's a good idea. U can hit shyt 2-4x/week, which is ideal.

That was just an example workout. On full body I split it up Chest/Back/Leg aka A workout and Shoulders/bicep/Legs aka B workout.

I would be lifting 3 times a week ie. MWF or SuWF alternating ABABA,etc
I would do 40 min cardio 3 of the non lifting days with one complete day of rest. I work from home 3 days a week, so since my activity level is lower being at home all day I`d probably go to the gym and do a light 20-30 min cardio when I take my girl in the evenings to work out.

I like doing "bro splitS" as I`m in and out the gym quicker, but I noticed my diet is always crap on them.

And my goal isn't to make gains, its to retain as much muscle as possible while losing weight.

Everybody who's doing squats today is doing front squats, including me.

Front squats = pulling sumo = eating butt?

Side note, I was also planning on pulling sumo today, and eating butt, if I'm lucky. :leon:

I noticed a lot more people are doing front squats now then I have ever noticed at anytime while lifting. I guess youtube is to thank or something.

I never knew planet fitness was such a :trash: gym.

nothing but smith machines :beli:

no dumbbells over 60 pounds :beli:

no curl bars :beli:

I was going to switch gyms since my usual one closes at 11pm and I wanted to start going after I got off of work at 10, I'm cancelling this membership as soon as I get a chance, i might consider LA fitness depending on the initiation and the monthly fee.
