You missed the part of the conversation before she walked in when they were talking about how it happened unofficially.

The university could shut it down and reassign them because it's university owned property, that doesn't prove it was mandated as a black dorm. It was unofficially called the black dorm because only black students lived there.

You seem to be arguing that no institution should be able to exclude people from living where they want or force them to live in only one place based on race. No one disagrees with that, we just disagree on whether that's what was happening in this episode.

I do believe that there is nothing wrong with a group of people choosing to live in an area with other people of the same race if all options are available equally. If that is the case no one should be forced to change that because it's making outsiders uncomfortable.
I didn't miss that part, it can't be unofficial unless the school is assigning them there thus cnodoning it in the first damn place.
Yes the fact that the university could shut it down and reassign it and that the students had to go to the university to get permission for it to exist shows that it was condoned by the university.

No I'm arguing no institution should have (insert ethnicity) housing.

If people of color want to live with people of their liking there is nothing stoping them from doing so, going to a college administration and begging them to provide that just for ___ ethnicity is a joke though

"Having that red, black and green house in the middle of Stevenson College, which is a predominantly white-serving college, is a matter of symbolism and visibility," A/BSAleader Imari Reynolds told Fox News host Tucker Carlson.

The African/Black Student Alliance said its mission as an organization is "the liberation of all black people," and to serve as "a place and space for Afrikan/Black/Caribbean students to learn together, to teach together, to offer support for the various racialized macro-and-microaggressions, and also to challenge each other around some harmful ideologies we may hold toward practicing a fuller love for ALL Black people."

Students asserted that their building takeover should be described as a "reclamation," not "occupation."

They care so much about black rights, yet they choose to go to a white university instead of the numerous HBCUs and beg white folks to embrace them. SMH

The only redeeming part of the college scenes was Charlie. Rest was unentertaining. Very hard pass on the Zoey college spin off show.
