I understood the purpose of tonight's episode but if those 3 college kids and the 2 educators are gonna be the main 5 cast members, I don't see the spin off being any good. Zoey is already the weakest actress and character on the show. I just don't see the spin off being any good. I hope I'm wrong

She actually showed emotion. Better than she has been.

She did show some emotion, I'm sure it will get better with time, but she still seemed very stiff.

Yeah, they would definitely need to add some more people to the mix. Zoey works as a straight man (or woman in her case), she's not naturally funny like Dre. Needs some funny people to bounce off of. The Jewish girl wasn't really funny and the dude she liked a few solid lines.

If she had some funny teachers it would help out and if the show tackled some solid issues it might have potential.

I wonder if Charlie will be featured on both shows, that would help. But Charlie can't be a main character, his best work is in short spurts. That's what I fear with the 2 white faculty members, they could be funny in short spurts but this show needs more main characters than just the jewish girl and the dude she likes.
