Making people hurt is the point of a strike. Looking as if when people have power and/or leverage they wont be allowed to use it. Rail workers might get they sick leave but it doesn’t seems like people forcing change by causing economic problems is something that will be allowed to happen.

Americans aren’t taught to think thats a viable option. It’s why our media and politicians frames it as pain to the economy and sides with management/capital.

A general strike would create amazing change. Unfortunately working class people, including us losers who are able to sit in front of a monitor all day, don’t have class solidarity.
