Saturday I had an appointment at 5 PM to get my sons hair braided. I get there at 450 and I see the person driving away. She texts at 5 minutes later she’s 5 minutes away. I text her at 420 that we can reschedule the appointment for Wednesday. She says she’s sorry and she got stuck at the check cashing place, and then tells me that she would text me on Monday for Wednesday.

Well it’s 8 pm on a Wednesday night.

Should I call her?

I just let it go. Not even gonna text her on some "Hey wanna grab drinks". It just is what it is .

Nah it ain’t doing nothing for my ego, it’s just I got on meds for bipolar and it’s like I’m a whole different person these days, I don’t even be trying to fukk because I value my relationship, I’m just so used to avoiding people and now I’m talking to everybody, I’ve always had an easier time talking to women, everytime I talk to a dude we be cool but not like let’s kick it cool

I guess this is slightly different in that I feel personally, I didn't really get to "spit" like I would have liked to in our initial meeting. It was a quick 3-4 min convo since she was at work. For most other chicks that have been really on me, I've usually had a much longer interaction so I can gauge interest levels pretty well. Hence me thinking at first, Just shoot out a "Wanna grab drinks" text. With that it's like ehh, "Nothing to lose" really.

True. That’s why when women hit you with the let’s just be friends line it’s not even authentic. They just want a dude to listen to their problems without having sex with them.

I can probably think of only two women my whole life who I went out on dates with and we decided to become friends and they actually were good friends. One woman was always there with help with networking, advice with other women, if I ever needed a ride to airport and stuff like that. The other woman was mad reliable and her word was her bond. Even when my mom passed she unexpectedly came to my moms funeral even when she was working out of state.

but other than that most women from what I’ve witnessed aren’t very good friends.

I gotta say women’s perspective is hilarious. It’s funny how they categorize you so quickly based on how you look.

So this one girl at this holiday party, she approaches me and talking to me. Asking me silly questions, do I live alone, any kids, do I drive, etc. “I like to go out & eat, hoe babble, hoe babble” so then when I escalate the convo, she’s like


& says “my friends are calling me” & dips



All cause I happened to be wearing a suit at her company event. It’s like suit means relationship to these hoes.
