Essential Quick Lil Gems on Dealing with Women

Matched with this chick on Tinder on the 14th of December. We text for a couple days.

-She’s in grad school and it was finals so she was pretty busy.
-I end up asking her out to go meet up at a museum.
-I don’t get a response for 3 days and on day 4 I ask if she was still still interested.
-Day 5 she responds back and says sorry for not responding back because she was busy with Finals.
-She also says she’s still interested but she can’t go until after the 3rd of January since she’ll be in Cali visiting family.
-I tell her it’s cool just message me back when she’s back in NY and we’ll set something up.
- I text her on Christmas to wish her Merry Christmas and we message for a few hours.

I didn’t message her at all between that day on Christmas and this morning. Is that a bad move? I checked Tinder this morning and her location said she was back in NY so I messaged her asking how she was doing because I’m trying to meet up tomorrow.

Yall think she’s actually interested or am I bugging and just need to chill. Ideally I want to message a chick for a couple days and meet up within the same week. I don’t like wasting my time so let’s see if we like each other or not and continue or break it off. We matched 3 weeks ago and still haven’t met up and it’s kind of annoying.

Got out of a almost 2 year relationship earlier last year, and told myself once the new year hit id start dating again. I wont lie it fukked me up. Together for almost 2 years, holidays together, planned on proposing this year, and fell out with my best friend of 12+ years as well around the same time we split.

Im in atlanta and needa get back out there and on the apps. I used to run the streets back in college but alot of my go to spots are closed im in shape and make good $$. So honestly its just adapting to whats going on out here now that im 30 Its just getting out of my own head at this point and moving forward

I know that has to be rough but I wish you the best out there man. You got through it and are though it's super difficult life goes on. With that said then game has changed tremendously from when you were back outside.

Just experienced the weirdest shyt. Was talking to some chick from an app who I matched with yesterday and right away she sent her number. She talked about coming all the way to my state from ct (two hours away) and getting a hotel to spend the night with me. I was thrown back at how fast she was moving and she even was talking real fast so I asked if she was tested, she said this isn't the 60s, I told her std rates are rampant. She called me a faq then hung up on me all cause I wasn't down to fukk her without knowing her status or having a convo.

Say that to say be careful, people are crazy these days lol.

Just having the self awareness to know your approach needs tweaking is a good start. I’ve reflected on ways I’ve approached when I was younger and became embarrassed and ashamed about it.

What one person many perceive may be different from someone else

Two moments worthy of mention, this isn't a travelogue, but being in Guadalajara, and the mountains, for a wedding for a week was unreal. The climax was post reception; New Years's Eve, at midnight, volleys of gunfire all night in the mountains, and hillsides, right next to us. .50 Cal's and AR's, heavy automatic weapons til about 6:00 AM. CJNG gunmen and bosses.

Without going all into it, the women, all that was incredible. At one point my boy and the bride had me seated with like 8 single women, I was the only male at the table.

Then, back home, hit an old school money spot with my Dad, and these two older women give me that intense gaze, leave with their group. The bartender comes up to me later, who I kinda know from a girlfriend, and I stand up to shake his hand, and he slips me a woman's name and number, and says she wanted me to have it. My Dad said that's never happened to me before, and that's his favorite spot lol, I was just laughing. The woman is actually like a high profile socialite type.
