I recently did this (Initiated by the women) I thought why not as I was on a short term contact.

Well the week I was did the deed my contract got extended and I'm still here.
She started acting strange out of nowhere, dodging and avoiding me at work and now we barely speak
When I mean out of nowhere, I mean Friday things were normal, Following week barely spoke.

I actually spoke to her about it yesterday and she just said she wasn't feeling it anymore.
Just told her she should have just been straight up instead of just acting weird around me.


I wouldn't recommend it.
TBF if I had expected to stay I wouldn't have went through with it cause I have been through a similar situation years ago.

This is the danger of messing with women at work. A lot of the time it's best to leave it at playful flirting. Anything else gets too real and 9 times out if 10 she's going to be like the chick you're talking about get cold feet and not be into it anymore.

Nah she approached me.
I was trying to be in monk mode I wasn't looking for anything especially not at work.

Smashed in the hotel once.
Did lunch most days after work drinks a couple times you know work wife type stuff lol.

Then out of nowhere flatline.
TBH I only spoke to her again because I didn't want that awkward energy fukking up my work environment.

Under normal circumstances I would have deaded her but because I have to see her for the foreseeable I just addressed it.

I knew it was done when I asked her around 9am in the morning asking what she was up to that day...
She responded 4am the next day talking bout she just came in from Shoreditch No acknowledgement that she had taken a whole day to get back to me

Oh no doubt! I met a girl in the gym a week ago. We exchanged info. She was excited to meet up for coffee. Morning of the date she start taking hours to respond. Yeah yeah yeah I seen this movie before . So I canceled BEFORE she had a chance to cancel or ghost me.This bish left me on read (she turned her read receipts on just for that) and didn’t respond to my cancel text

Lol that’s when you cut your losses and know she's pulling away. sudden slow replies and general dry small talk and avoidance to meet up. signals things are winding down

If I text a woman at 9am but I know she's working, I’ll probably get a text from her around 11am when she has some time to reply. Perfectly acceptable.

She’s telling me loud and clear, we done or soon to be. Currently have a similar situation. Chick I’ve been seeing on and off for a while not super regular, but we saw each other sporadically. Our last convo was kinda tense I could feel the attitude in her replies, which was surprising as she is usually so sweet.

So I left it. messaged her last Thursday to see how she is. Now the chat app we use, I know she's on there regularly, she didn't read my message for 2 days and still hasn’t replied.

Nothing I can do. But she's telling me everything without saying a word.

How did you end up in a relationship with her if you don’t like spending time with her?

Lack of foresight on my end. I liked spending time with her back when we first started hanging out almost a year ago, and I let the it ride out longer than it should have due to going into a dry spell before meeting her after moving to my current city. I've been moving towards seeking LTRs for a future wife after getting the player stage out of my system for the last two years, so I've been trying to get her do stuff with me to see if we vibe. Frankly, there's friction between our lifestyles that's stressing me, and it feels like I'm appeasing too much to her to not feel like an a$$hole.

I'm just gonna have to rip off the bandaid, cause this inaction is doing neither of us favors.
