Military can and will fukk you every op they get. Get in if you have a solid plan and stuff but breh doesnt seem to so in a year we gonna see him crying about how his E4 is a dikk and shyt.
They roped me into being a boatswain mate so yeah a 27 yr old black kid with a captains licence isnt exactly marketable lol. I matured a lot but I would have matured a lot regardless, thats life. I honestly hated my experience with the military and the whole your just another cog aspect of it. Coast guard was maddening as a black man.

shyt in the coast guard Im pretty sure you couldnt lateral iver to officer until you were E6 so roughly 8-10 minimum. And even then it was easiest to get cwo not like lieutinient etc. so yeah recruiter probs selling him thay good shyt, as per usual
From your posts it seems like you are in a state of flux. The military isnt going to help or fix that itll make it worse before it gets better. i was where you are right now. If I had another chance I would have just went to college for something marketable and said fukk the military. There isnt really a price in sovreignty. But do you man, i hope it works out
I think that you have a good point and thank,you for your advice. I guess to answer your question I'm doing it,because I want to become a man. I feel like I'm one yet. Idk if it's bc of my breakup. I live alone got my own place so I think that's the insecurity that's pushing me. Plus I wanna get away from my city and exp something else but idk I've been allover the world and like I said am invited to go to yucatan.
