Question: Why is it always held against Kobe that he played with Shaq when Magic had Kareem?

That’s why the Lakers making in the finals in 1991 imo Was Magic’s greatest work as an NBA player. That Laker team had no business being in the finals but he somehow willed a rookie Vlade to become his number two guy during that “magical” playoff run. All without Kareem or a healthy Worthy or Scott.

:myman:

Definitely. I’d add that it was such a fitting finals too since we got to see Magic pass the torch to MJ and the Showtime dynasty ended and the Bulls dynasty began. It’s rare you get such a perfect scenario like that.

Showtime Dynasty ended two years prior.

Even though I disagree with them, I don't have a problem with those who feel Duncan't was better. Just those who are of the "nowhere near" ilk
I already reiterated that Hakeem is the one Kobe isn’t really near.

But then again y’all probably think Kobe is close to MJ just because he imitated his style.

these dudes dont hang around any ballers or probably any black people in general. Imagine hanging out in a barbershop and casually telling nikkas Kobe is "nowhere near" Tim Duncan :mjlol:
Typical coli nikka rhetoric when they don’t have any argument :deadrose:

Why would I argue with a hater, im supposed to spend time arguing about Kobe vs Hakeem a guy with 1 title and Kobe vs Tim Duncan a guy who spent the last half of his career averaging 15ppg while losing in the 1st round to an 8th seed

It's not "rhetoric" it's fax but we know you dont be in those environments :sas2:

8 STRAIGHT FINALS....

THEN MISSES THE PLAYOFFS HIS 1ST YR IN THE WEST IS INSANE.

Because it's not like LeBron didn't get hurt in game 35 when they were the 3/4 seed, and half of the top of the rotation isn't out with season-ending injuries. :mjlol:

This "moderation" is the #1 reason this section of The Coli has gone to crap. :scust:

:mjlol: All that googling u did and this the best u could come up with? Not one credible source or all time great ever said or considered Tim Duncan the best player in the league. Ever! Stop it
Half of the GMs in the NBA aren't a credible source? :gucci:

You asked for "anyone around the league", and now you won't even count GMs, the TOP guys whose paychecks depend on accurately evaulating NBA talent.

It was 15-20 years ago, hot takes on social media weren't a thing yet. What the hell google search are you supposed to use to find out what all time greats were saying in 2004? :what:

Only 2 rings and 2 finals appearances but " Kobe isn't really near":mjlol:
I don’t even know why I’m responding to y’all cuz just expose how ignorant y’all are cuz y’all present arguments with emotions and sentimental shyt :snoop:

Hakeem has 3 Finals appearances, with dominant play off performances that exceeded Kobe’s, while Duncan was a transcendent talent the minute he stepped in the NBA and was an impactful player all the way down to the last chip the Spurs won in his old age.

But I’ll let y’all cook :hubie:

My bad I forgot about 86. I try to forget. Coop laying on the Forum floor. :mjcry:

At least The Dream defended his title:salute:unlike Duncan't. Who wasn't impactful enough to defend his titles...at least one.
