My belief is that the universe, is and always was.

Time is only a device of measurement that we try to place everything into. It only exists in our mind. The universe is timeless, its just there, and has always been there.

Then life happened "there," and we spend our lives trying to understand why and how.

But in a way, Im like the threadstarter. I wont be part of a religion and dont believe in the popular idea of god, but Im not opposed to believing in an architecht. Something more powerful that set everything in motion.

because the gravity is so extreme not even light can escape it..it does however due to the sheer amount of energy/heat produced when consuming matter emit a large amount of x-rays. Lets be here real Meach, you really don't intrinsically know the material you're trying to act like you know.. you didn't even know Black Holes don't emit visible light

You just proved my point. We observe black holes by observing the things they consume. They don't emit light because they are sucking it all up. They emit x-rays because they are consuming matter. Umm judging from your avi and location. You should know this. Quantum theorists are the main ones questioning our current laws of physics and the way they relate to the big bang.

Do you watch the science channel? Have you seen Through the Wormhole? They have had a couple episodes speaking on this issue.

don't even try me bruh, I was an astrophysics major before I changed.

You brung up the fact that they emit x-rays as some type of proof not me. And I don't care what your major was it doesn't make you correct. You seem to be really misinformed in some of the things you learned.

And you don't actually age slower by moving fast. A person in a rocketship ages at the same rate as a person standing on earth. In theory you would age slower relative to the things around you because you are moving faster than the things around you can move. This theory can never be proved or tested because you would need to be going faster than the speed of light and our physics model says traveling at the speed of light is impossible. Time is relative not constant.

You seem to be just regurgitating facts or tidbits that you heard somewhere but you havnt actually taken the time to THINK about and make sense of theses theories.

How is that dumb. religious people take some provable evidence about the universe then use an unknown unprovable entity to explain the rest and make it all fit. Scientist have even called dark matter the "God Particle" so are they making a dumb analogy too?

Yes and no. Dark matter COULD and propably does contain Higgs boson like particles. But either way in order to explain dark matter they will need to explain the Higgs boson
